BenQ-Siemens EF81 is a thin and light 3G mobile phone with 2 mega pixel camera, extraordinary sound and good displays. It can support MP3, video phony, Bluetooth, has a memory card microSD slot and e-mail client. You can use Word, Excel, PDF files. The drawbacks are problems with PO and low battery hold.
BenQ-Siemens EF81 is undoubtedly a very attractive phone. Some envious users say that it is much like the representative of the Motorola RAZR but we should not go into details! There are some differences still and the keypad is much easier in use, plus it is good looking and fashionable: “I like the appearance of the phone a lot! Plus the body is metallic”. According to the possessors of the phone it goes well both for men and women: “It took me a long time to choose the design – classical, without any additional details, unisex without much women’s stuff”.
The phone EF81 has two color displays and both are well done. The images are bright and clear: “The display is bright and clear (and not too small). The photos and video achieved with the help of 2 mega pixel camera are of high quality. The camera is of 2 mega pixel and the photos on the PC look like being made by a digital camera. There are some observations for the camera nevertheless: it does not have the flash. The phone BenQ-Siemens EF81 also has video phony function but since few operators support this function it is not even mentioned, only as a “want but do not have the possibility”.
The BenQ-Siemens EF81 music possibilities and wide and varied: “A high quality dynamic and the voice calls and outer for music reproduction, in general music is the strong point of the phone, and the sound is great!! I have not bought the car music player so I am using the phone. The alarm is so loud that the neighbors wake up”. Memory card slots allow using the mobile phone as music player. Although it has enough installed memory – 64 Mb.
No one has complaints so far about the phone calls.
Another BenQ-Siemens EF81 advantage is a rather fast Bluetooth and it is mentioned in some comments: “A rather fast Bluetooth both in receiving and in sending files”.
Now let’s move to the drawbacks. First of all these are PO shortages. There are many problems and since they are mentioned a couple of times, it seems that it is the problem of more than one phone. “It just turns off, does not make good photos, it clicks but does not show anything on the display, it shows the sign of something saved but in reality does not perform the operation, then it starts to turn off and then turn on, then the outer display can be lighted all day long and the battery is low after one day and then I have to charge it every day at seven before studies. It starts to change the settings, does not make capital letters in writing SMS, does not download new themes from the computer, the photos are not high quality, the computer does not detect it and finally it stopped calling, the call button does not function, and you can receive just one call and then it turns off and turns on”.
